IBCC Equivalence Calculator 2026 – O Level & A Level Marks
IBCC Equivalence Calculator: O-Level & A-Level Marks out of 1100
Convert your Cambridge grades into Matric (SSC) or FSc (HSSC) equivalent marks the way IBCC does: A = 85, B = 75, C = 65, D = 55, E = 45, and A* at the subject value IBCC sets for each session.
O-Level grades
A-Level grades (3 full A-Level subjects)
Grade values from IBCC’s conversion table: A* “above 90” (set per subject each session), A 85, B 75, C 65, D 55, E 45; for 9–1 grades 9 = A* value, 8 = 87, 7 = 82, 6 = 77, 5 = 70, 4 = 60, 3 = 50, 2 = 40. O-Level A* 2026: English and Urdu 93, other subjects 94 (2025: Pakistan Studies 93). A-Level A* 2026: Physics 95, Computer Science 93, other subjects 94. For O-Levels completed in 2026 or later, IBCC’s February 2026 notification bases A-Level equivalence on the compulsory O-Level subjects. Your official result comes only from IBCC; use this to plan applications.
Getting your IBCC equivalence certificate
- Apply online on the IBCC e-services portal and upload your Cambridge statements of results.
- Pakistani students need the 8 required O-Level subjects (including Urdu, Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies); foreign students can be exempt from those three.
- For A-Levels you need 3 full A-Level subjects in the group you want (pre-medical, pre-engineering, ICS).
- Use the marks out of 1100 shown here to check university merit before IBCC issues the final certificate.
How many marks is an A* in IBCC?
IBCC sets the A* value for each subject every session, above 90. For 2026 it is 93 for O-Level English and Urdu and 94 for other O-Level subjects; for A-Level it is 95 for Physics, 93 for Computer Science and 94 for other subjects.
How is the IBCC percentage calculated?
Each grade is converted into marks (A = 85, B = 75, C = 65, D = 55, E = 45, A* = the session value), the marks are added and divided by the maximum, and the result is scaled to 1100.
